AMD LOVE!
Well, the story goes this way. In the year 2016 I wanted to desperately build a PC which can do gaming and multi tasking at ease! I've kept a budget of 50K max, well I have few other so-called brand in mind however it is out of my budget.

The noise level is subjective, being dependent on what cooler you install. Performance wise no problems and I have upgraded from the FX 6300, and have noticed an increase in performance. The wraith cooler looks fantastic (didn't even realise!) And is huge! The thermals are great on it.

AMD FX-8350 review
A decent update to the previous gen chip, but it's still not necessarily the chip we'd recommend to the bargain PC builders.

AMD FX-8350 Vishera Desktop Processor
Ask any AMD fan how they feel about the FX-8150 "Bulldozer" CPU, and you'll get one of two responses: massive disappointment or frenzied rationalizations (you can check out the comments section of Benchmark Review's FX-8150 review to see examples of both).
Pros:
- Eight cores and 5GHz on your desktop computer
- Officially supports DDR3-1866 memory
- Better performance than Intel on multithreaded tasks
- An FX system has 38 usable PCI-E lanes as opposed to the 24 lanes of a Sandy Bridge system
- Excellent price/performance ratio
- finally competitive with Intel in...

AMD FX 8350 processor review
The Octacore PileDriver based FX 8350 processor from AMD does what was expected of it, and that's increase performance, albeit relatively little. The Vishera architecture and thus the PileDriver cores in particular will bump up performance another 10% maybe 15% and all considering that's not heaps...

AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition
This is a great processor overall that offers tremendous performance right out of the box, and if you're interested in overclocking, then this might be the best pick for you. It's an eight-core chip that runs at 4.0GHz as soon as you install it into your computer as well as 8MB of L2 cache memory...

Excellent processor with fast speed and eight cores. Good bang for your buck as it is one of the better AMD processors and can compete with some of the intel processors out there for a better price.

Consider This
Very happy for 149 pounds this is a fantastic processor. I had a phenomx2 955 quad at 3.2 ghz. Games ran fine with all the graphics on full on my 1080p telly sometimes lagged a bit. But as soon as i turned phsics on in bourdlands two or batman etc it was rubbish.

Just amazing
Been using since 07/11/12. I'm really impressed. AMD made some good architecture improvements over FX-8150. I have tested this and at stock, it is 15% faster than the FX-8150. Idle cpu temps is 32-34C. On heavy load, cpu does not exceed 44C (with my 1 week old Akasa Venom medusa air cooler).
