AMD's Piledriver FX-8350 Gaming Comparison
When we looked at the Piledriver CPU, we ran it with our standard CPU review HD 6970. However, our CPU review game and 3D benchmark suite is a bit long in the tooth. AMD FX-8350 Overclocking + Liquid Cooling System Review
In my previous FX-8350 article I was able to achieve a fairly solid 4.6 GHz overclock on above average cooling. I had to take voltage up to 1.55v for the product, which is approaching a point where I get pretty uncomfortable. The FX chips are very heat sensitive.

The next best thing to a 9370/9590 or an Intel Counter part.
Got this CPU for my X-Mas Upgrade, and coming from a C2Q Q9550 @ 4.3Ghz, I must say WOW, On BF3, BF4 and Crysis WOW. On WoW and ETS2, kinda okay. It was worth the $190 i gave for her, and will serve me well for the Future games.
Pros:
- Runs 8 Cores
- lots of Cache
- Runs all games Maxed
- Great Price
Cons:
- HOT
- Need WC for Pushing OC's
- IPC ain't ground breaking
- did I say HOT

AMD FX-8350
AMD's FX-8350 is the latest desktop processor from AMD and the first eight-core CPU based on the company's "Piledriver" design. AMD is smarting after a weak global economy and strong demand for Intel products hit its profit margins and sales this past quarter, and the FX-8350 is meant to change...
