AKG make microphones and headphones exclusively, so it's fair to expect that whatever they put out to the market is likely to be unquestionably good and perhaps not strictly following exactly the same design bible as all the others out there.

These bad-ass DJ cans from AKG offer appeal far beyond the dancefloor, with a combination of awesome sonics, solid build and supreme comfort on the old lobes. What does that all add up to?

Somewhat of a relief after hours spent listening to cold; precise noise cancellers; these normally aspirated headphones sound better than the Sennheiser PXC 450; Bose QC3 and Creative Aurvana X-Fi; although they are less suited to long-haul flights.

There are switches on the each ear marked "Large/small club"; They don't appear to do anything, at least when not plugged into a nightspot's sound system.

I've had these headphones for just over a week, and I'm very impressed. I've worn them for 5 hours with absolutely zero ear fatigue, even though they fit on the ear. Their sound isolation is great: in noisy clubs you can easily hear exactly what you want to when you want to with these.

This is probably the best pair of headphones that I ever had, they have a really good sound quality and you can take it everywhere you want.

I was looking for a set of headphones that could improve the sound of my IPOD touch. Most notably, the bass is terrible from the IPOD. I'm not too crazy about in-ear headphones and I wanted something that could provide a bit of isolation.
