Great sound on vocals, if only that on/off switch was recessed like the SM58, this would be the perfect mic. It's a pain to turn on/off.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when I received the AKG D5 microphone from snapdeal because this product was absolutely in mint condition within a sealed box. There were no traces of tampering, everything was intact.

This mic seems to have a lot of low-mids in it. For many voices it would sound muddy, but for a male tenor voice that might be a little thin, it is perfect. I haven't heard it on a female voice yet, but I bet it would be really nice.
