Samsung Galaxy Ace

 4.0
Cons: No Flash player; iPhone-like appearance will put some people off; no over-the-air Android updates
Verdict: Samsung's made the right sacrifices to keep the cost of the Galaxy Ace down. It has a relatively low-res screen and lacks the power to play Flash video, but this Android phone is packed with fun features and looks much more expensive than it is.

Pros: iPhone-like looks, Above average camera for stills, Hot-swappable microSD cards (up to 32GB
Cons: Poor video recording, Below average calling quality, No Flash, No DivX/Xvid codec support out of the box

Samsung Galaxy Ace Review

 3.0
Pros: Cool looks, great price, decent features
Cons: Processor shows it's not on the same level as many other smartphones
Verdict: This is a neat-looking handset which, if there was no iPhone 4 to compare it to, would be snazzily appealing. Of course, it doesn't compare to Apple's handset but it's much cheaper and it runs Android, which for many will be a bonus. Plus, it's well-specced and enjoyable to use.

Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830

Pros: Feels more premium than the Gio due to the larger size and display real estate, good snapper that has a flash, Android Gingerbread powered, hot-swoppable memory card slot
