GoPro considers the Hero+ LCD an entry-level camera and, looking at its specs and capabilities, it has stripped of much of what you'd find on the higher-end Hero4 Silver and Black models. The Hero+ LCD's price, on the other hand, does not say "entry level.

Battery can not be changed (It's not a cell phone, guys, bad idea). Can't take the unit out of the case, like the others GoPro. If you scratch or brake the lens or the case itself, and you will do (hey, this is an action cam) only an authorized tech assistance will repair.

I wish I knew this camera was coming from a marketplace vendor and that Walmart does not stand behind nor support these vendors. I promptly returned the unopened camera, after having to email and beg for the address, only to find that the vendor now has the camera AND my $$.

The quality of the image and sound is great, as well as all the features available like time lapse. The LCD screen is also very useful, you can view images and videos straight away. If you download the app onto your smartphone you can also take pictures remotely.

Bought camera for aspiring 11 y/o youtuber. He easy controls camera and finds it very user friendly. Videos are top quality.

Took this camera to Hawaii and captured some great underwater footage - used a screw on handle that floats. Make sure to take a laptop that will play HD video - our older Mac didn't play the video too well.

Really please with this camera. Found it a bit difficult to get it up and running for a bit, but once I did - its amazing!

I upgraded my GoPro Hero (basic) to this one, hoping to improve the video quality. Hero Basic produced decent audio. This more expensive Hero Plus has muffled audio when the camera is facing you.

Was just about to buy the Hero for my trail running happy snappy cam but I'm now going to get this pretty puppy instead :D .
