problem crack inside floor

The floor of the refrigerator has cracks in the plastic. This unit is not very old. We are an older couple with no children. There has been no abuse of this fridge. I will not buy another "pigeon pair" (though this is our second pair- first bought in 1992, then replace with this pair) or any other fridge freezer from F&P because of the poor quality of construction materials. An appliance should last at least 10 years. I contacted F&P and they gave me a name of a repair business, but did not offer to pay for this.
I am currently looking at new appliances to buy for our new house and I will not buy F&P.
